Subaru offers text message alerts to our consumers for product alerts, service alerts, and entertainment purposes. Users who opt-in for the alerts can receive them on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis depending upon their preferences. There is no fee to receive text message alerts from Subaru. Standard text messaging rates may apply. ALERTS HOW TO OPT-IN FOR FORESTER ALERTS: To opt-in or subscribe to Subaru Legend text message alerts, text the assigned keyword to the shortcode 742350. For example, text the keyword "FORESTER " to the 742350 shortcode. Alternatively, users can complete an online mobile sign-up form on participating Subaru websites. Then reply "Y" to start regularly receiving alerts. SUBARU MOBILE CONTENT DOWNLOADS: Subaru offers you the chance to download some of our exclusive content including ringtones, wallpapers, and games. You can download these via our mobile webpage by following the directions on the page. You can also receive exclusive downloads via text message. In your message, you will receive a link with the appropriate content. In order to download content from Subaru, you must have a data plan with your carrier that allows you to access content from the internet on your mobile device. If you are unsure whether you have a data plan, please contact your mobile carrier. Specific download features require a data plan with Java installed. You may also need to choose the corresponding download for your device. Proper memory space is required for select downloads. These are FREE downloads, although carrier charges may apply for select phone plans and some carriers may prevent the download of such applications.
